Diet Maggi - Egg Diet

There are suggestions that the Maggi diet "came" to us from the UK, and the founder of it was herself Margaret Thatcher. The Prime Minister did not suffer from the problem of excess weight and did not set a goal to invent it. However, there is information that the recipe for Margaret's harmony, about which she herself said, is that in the week you need to eat 28 eggs. It's not for nothing that Maggie's diet plan is also called egg diet.

Thatcher recorded the menu of her two-week diet, with which she maintained the form. This became the prototype of the diet, which acquired the name "Maggi" - abbreviated from Margaret. Who is the author of the "second part" of Maggie - is not known. The obvious effectiveness of this nutrition method is confirmed by many people who with her help got rid of extra pounds.

Diet Plans

Low carb diet Maggi provides strict implementation of such rules:
You can remove any product from the menu, but it is forbidden to replace it at your discretion. The only exception is the replacement of eggs with cottage cheese in case of allergy to chicken eggs;

eat as much as indicated in the menu;

it is forbidden to change the places of food;

Vegetables cook on water without adding broth;

add various fats and oils to food;

you need to drink more than pure water;

you can drink tea / coffee any time - but without sugar and milk;

instead of sugar it is allowed to use a sugar substitute;

categorically forbidden the use of alcohol - the chemical diet of Maggi and alcohol are incompatible;

You cannot eat potatoes, bananas, grapes, mangoes, figs, dates;

banned cereals, pasta and lamb;

salads cannot be refueled;

if between the main meals you felt an intolerable hunger, then eat a cucumber, carrot or salad - but only after 2 hours after the recommended meal;

if you interrupted the course (for example, ate a prohibited product) - then you need to start again.
To achieve greater effect, it is recommended to go in for sports, or at least walk more, to be outdoors and try to sleep at least seven hours a day. After the Maggi diet, the stomach shrinks, resulting in less food. The advantage of Maggi, in addition to its effect, is the correction of eating habits: after leaving it you will hardly want to attack sweet things and fatty dishes.

Contraindications
Maggi diet is definitely not like people suffering from allergies to some products (eggs and citrus fruits). Also it’s categorically prohibited for pregnant and lactating women. Under the strict supervision of a doctor, one should follow a diet to people who have gastrointestinal tract diseases, disorders in the work of the cardiovascular system, kidneys or liver.
 A lot of discussion is caused by the number of eggs in the diet of the Maggi diet. However, nutritionists say that consumption of eggs in this amount is acceptable if you do not abuse high-fat foods.
