Planning a Holiday

We recommend not just thinking about vacation, but beforehand start preparing for it. After all, a couple of weeks of good rest load the positive for many months ahead. We have five simple tips on how to prepare for your vacation so that it becomes a real holiday.
  1. Select a holiday destination
All - and psychologists, and friends, and common sense - advise: do not spend holidays at home! A full rest will not work, if not change the situation. But what to change it, depends only on your preferences. Well, let everyone fly to Europe: if you are drawn to nature in your father's house, then this is exactly what you need!
Having decided to look at the overseas countries, look for information about them in advance in order to know what awaits you. Remember the stories of friends, find on the Internet blogs of inveterate or novice travelers, buy guidebooks.
Having decided on the country, city and places of interest you want to see with your own eyes, find out what formalities will need to be taken in order to get there: passport, visa, insurance, customs regulations. It will be also good to find out the peculiarities of national etiquette in order to avoid cultural missteps.
  1. Decide on an action plan
Decide for yourself how you are determined to relax. If the work takes away all the forces, then you probably want to just lie on the beach; and if you are engaged in mental work, then most likely you need an active rest. Nevertheless, try to choose the golden mean - to combine passive rest with the active.
In any case, make a plan. Going out of town? Determine when the barbecue and the hammock, and when the flower beds and lawn. Going to the resort? In advance, find out about excursions and entertainment there.
  1. Define the budget
On vacation many of us do not consider money. And then they regret it. But how to keep yourself from big spending and yet not severely limit your spending? To do this, you can determine in advance the amount that you are willing to spend on vacation. Divide it by the number of vacation days - and it becomes clear how much you can spend every day.
  1. Make a list of things that need to be completed before the holidays.
Try to arrange everything so that neither calls from work nor thoughts about unfinished business do not prevent you from resting.
  1. Prepare in advance a list of things that you will take with you
Many have been doing this in recent days. And then it turns out that you for some reason took extra clothes and towels, and the razor and cream from sunburn remained at home.
Yes, and do not forget the first aid kit! In case of emergency, it is better to have the necessary medicines at hand, because even a good knowledge of a foreign language does not always help to successfully communicate with an apothecary offering you local analogues of the desired remedy. Be sure to take with yourself painkillers, antipyretic and anti-cold medications, as well as funds for stomach upset. And this is only a minimal set, without taking into account the characteristics of your body and the place you are going to.
And finally one more tip outside the list: do not go to the same place several times. The world is too interesting, but life is too short!
